Each year we embed 30+ professional artists into Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Colleges and PRUs in the Taunton area.

All artists on our books have excellent and varied skill sets - both as practising professional artists and as experienced facilitators, accustomed in working in education settings.
TYCA provides brilliant workshops in dance, music, puppetry, poetry, circus, visual art, theatre and more. We receive funding from Arts Council England and other partners to deliver these sessions so they are usually free at the point of booking.
We offer creative assemblies as well as workshops ranging from one hour (fitting into a single lesson block) to full day sessions. Also available are targeted engagement sessions for small groups and individuals identified as the most at risk of exclusion.
