Called the wandering circus because it really does wander! A range of street theatre, circus, dance and parkour performances spilling out around Somerset Square with the aerial rig at its epicentre.
Cirque de Silk presents:
An Aerial Circus extravaganza
The students of Cirque de Silk will be dazzling audiences with their dynamic, daring and stunning aerial performances. With performers ranging from 4 to 18 years old you’ll get a glimpse into the wonderful world of aerial arts with performances on aerial silks and aerial hoop. Cirque de Silk started in 2019 since then we now have our own aerial studio in Street where we teach aerial classes to both children and adults. Alongside our group classes we also run holiday clubs, intensives, retreats and teacher training courses. We encourage our children to perform and give them plenty of opportunities to get involved with professional events as well as our annual student showcase. We have had the pleasure of attending youth events at the National Centre for Circus Arts in London and our students have won medals at the Aerial Southwest Championships.
Learn Aerial circus skills from the very best! These workshops are open to all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities. No need to pre-book just turn up but make sure you are in the queue at the start time because slots will book up fast!
A countdown duet for two 16-year-olds with just 4 minutes to report back on life. Raw, physically risky and delicate – like a radio that refuses to be tuned to one station.

A stunning youth circus performance combining a range of skills culminating in a big fiery finale!
